About Me
I am a course leader on the post-compulsory education courses at USW. We offer teaching qualifications for those wishing to teach in further, adult and vocational education. I'm originally from Teesside, but began working as an English (ESOL and adult literacy) teacher in London. I taught in colleges and community education in Southwark, Hammersmith, Ealing and (mainly) in Brent (North West London). I also spent 2 years in Indonesia supporting teachers and teaching in secondary schools in Timor. I moved to South Wales in 2002 to work as a teacher educator at the (then) University of Wales College, Newport.
