I've worked ad hoc for the uni since 2005 as a student support worker and note taker and as an exams invigilator.  I work for other organisations in education and training, too.  Prior to my current roles, I worked in civil engineering for the rail industry and before that I was a civil servant.  I have a BSc and Msc from my studies with the Open University as a mature student and I have Cert Ed (PcET).
