I have worked in Research Innovation Services since 2006 and have a diverse portfolio of expertise and experience in research support. 

I have supported the University’s returns to the last three Research Assessments (RAE 2008, REF 2014 and REF 2021), providing specialist advice and guidance on REF process and procedures, as well as information system management and conducting data analysis to support strategic decisions around our submissions.

More widely, I am responsible for coordinating the USW HR in Excellence in Research Award, which has been held since 2013.  Am the primary contact for and have responsibility for the day-to-day operation of Pure; providing generic and bespoke support to staff with regards to reporting, training and their day to day use of Pure.
