About Me

I am Dr. Mabrouka Abuhmida. I work as a Senior Lecturer in Computing and Mathematical Sciences at the University of South Wales. In addition to lecturing, I am an active Artificial Intelligence researcher. As the Research and Innovation Group Leader, I spearhead initiatives across Computer Science, Data Science, and AI. I also serve as the Course Leader for the university's MSc and BSc AI courses. My expertise includes Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, the Internet of Things, and Computational Thinking.

Empowering women in STEM is a passion of mine, and I have been recognized for my efforts in this area. I have led successful collaborations between my students and local businesses to drive technology adoption. My current research is focused on applying AI to Digital Healthcare Transformation and Cybersecurity.
