About Me
Lee is a Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Psychology and currently the Course Leader of the B.Sc. (Hons) Sport and Exercise Psychology undergraduate degree programme. Lee also leads and contributes to a range of Sport Psychology, Sports Coaching, and Research Methods modules across the School of Psychology and Therapeutic Studies and the School of Health, Sport and Professional Practice. Lee has an emerging research profile, with a particular interest in the stress, mental well-being, and performance of key stakeholders operating in sport (e.g., athletes, coaches, support staff). This has led to him nearing the completion of a Ph.D. exploring the stress, coping, and mental well-being of elite football coaches.
Away from academia, Lee is a 1st team Player/Coach at Pontypridd Town FC and a neophyte sport psychology practitioner, who has provided sport psychology consultancy services to a range of elite and non-elite athletes and teams across a variety of sports (e.g., football, rugby, golf, tennis).
