About Me

Dr. Kulon is an Associate Professor at the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences, Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Science, University of South Wales, UK. He received M.Eng degree in Electronics and Computer Science from Krakow University of Technology, Poland in 1995 and Ph.D from Brunel University of West London, UK in 2003. He is a Research Group Leader in Biomedical Engineering and Computing . His research interests include digital signal processing, biomedical computing and knowledge based and expert systems. He has published over 60 papers in international journals and conference proceedings, secured external research funding from funding bodies such as an EPSRC, Department of Trade and Welsh Assembly and the NHS totalling around £574,000. Dr Kulon has supervised over 45 MSc and MEng dissertations, 110 BSc and BEng dissertations and 10 PhD dissertations as well as conducted 17 PhD examinations.
