I'm a novelist and short story writer. My research and writing focuses on genre fiction, particularly science fiction, fantasy, and horror. I'm also interested in the blending of genres to produce hybrid texts. My research-led teaching draws on these areas of interest, but I also teach across many different undergraduate creative writing modules as well as supervising fiction postgraduate projects.
