About Me

Clare joined USW in 2006. Clare is the KESS 2 Programme Manager, responsible for a pan-Wales, multi-million, multi-annual, PhD and MRes programme, working with a range of private sector and public sector organisations. Responsible for programme development, project and risk management, budget monitoring, quality assurance, change management, programme reach, and stakeholder management.

Previous USW roles include Head of Special Projects and Enterprise, Programme Manager, and Funding Development Officer. 

Prior to joining USW, Clare worked for the Welsh Government, as well as for the European Commission in Brussels. 

Skills And Qualifications

  • MBA
  • BA Hons English Literature and French
  • ARMA level 5 Certificate in Research Management
  • MSP and PRINCE2 trained
