About Me

Senior lecturer in the department of Mechanical & Aeronautical Engineering, University of South Wales and a Chartered Energy Engineer with over 20 years of teaching and research experience. His responsibilities in teaching and module leadership and project supervision cover the field of Thermofluids, combustion and heat transfer. Currently, his main research interest includes (1) Combustion and heat transfer in high temperature energy systems (covering aspects of mathematical modelling, condition monitoring and diagnostics); and (2) Applications of Computational Fluid Dynamics and Artificial Intelligence to combustion and energy related problems. He has worked as principal and co-investigator in several EPSRC and European funded research projects and published over 50 articles in international refereed Journals and Conferences and a book chapter in these research areas.
