About Me
I am a senior lecturer in Post Compulsory Education and Training (PcET) and the course leader for the Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education. I have been at USW for 14 years, initially in secondary ITE, teaching mathematics and science. Originally, following my PhD, I worked as a research scientist then retrained as a teacher of mathematics, working in Further Education before moving to USW. I continue my interest in these areas as the Chair of the Welsh region of the Association for Science Education and as a Subject Expert in Mathematics and Numeracy for Qualification Wales.
