About Me

I started teaching when I completed my secondary school training in Information Technology. After completing this, I lectured in a college for ten years at level 3 before starting lecturing at USW. With this experience, I am comfortable delivering lectures to large groups of students, and enjoy experimenting with different teaching methods and mediums.

My interests in all things 0 and 1 extend mainly to development on the internet and mobile applications, but I am interested in Computer Systems and the tinkering that is possible with simple systems.

In 2021 I delivered a session at AdvanceHE's STEM Conference on online Escape Rooms and how they helped connect students together when teaching remotely.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy keeping active, you might find me running or swimming, when I am not trying my best to parent the two daughters I have.
