I joined the university in 2021 having retired from a 32 year career in policing within Gwent. My background was within CID, where I held portfolio responsibility for vulnerability and public protection, cyber, intelligence and major crime. I sit as a safeguarding specialist as a volunteer board member for Canoe Wales and I currently deliver on the undergraduate courses within the policing arena. I also deliver to the police and criminology post-graduate courses and I am the course lead for our professional policing masters course.
