I have worked at the University of South Wales for over 20 years. As Graduate School Officer my role is to support application and enquiries for research degrees for the Faculty of Creative Industries. This includes the following areas: Business, Communication and Media, Creative Writing, Drama, English, History, Law, Accounting and Finance, Music and Sound, Photography, Social Policy, Animation and Visual Effects. I support Postgraduate Research (PGR) students and supervisors around the transfer and viva processes. I also provide support for quality assurance of PGR through my role as Secretary to the Faculty Research Degrees Committee and Progress Board. I administer and advise applicants to the External Engagement Fund which provides funds for PGR students to present at conferences and other types of external engagement. I am based in the Graduate School, which is currently located at 8 Forest Grove, Pontypridd Campus.
