I am a Highly Effective Health, Safety, Quality, Environmental, Training and project Manager, with a proven ability as an effective project organiser, an excellent team player who is able to work on my own initiative to the highest standards of quality in an extremely broad variety of situations and locations. I have excellent interpersonal skills, which reflect 12 years in the challenging environment of the Armed Forces. I have worked mainly in a Construction, Gas, Water, Electricity, Rail, heavy plant and lifting, civil engineering, Opencast / Surface Mining, Restoration and safety management for the past 30 years and have developed numerous Health and Safety initiatives and Standards for various Organisations throughout the World
I have travelled extensively and worked with many different cultures and individuals where tact and diplomacy were very important factors, I have undertaken a number of courses on methods of instruction and have exceptional presentation skills. I have carried out courses on the supervision and management of instructors, developing Safety training plans, Safety objectives and Policies. I take a great deal of pride in any project I undertake.
